The Hinkley Point C security project needed a single controlled QEHS framework in place of fragmented forms, workflows, actions and reporting. The new approach needed to support quality, environmental, health and safety activity within a regulated nuclear programme.
02Matthew's accountability
Matthew led the transformation from platform assessment and selection through process design, configuration, testing, training, user adoption and governance. He brought cross-functional users into the design so the system reflected practical delivery needs as well as assurance requirements.
03Intervention
Matthew benchmarked platforms, defined selection criteria and requirements, designed digital forms and workflows, set permissions and notifications, coordinated user testing, introduced dashboards and reporting routines, and supported training and implementation.
04Results
The digital framework onboarded 35 users, digitised 18 forms and workflows, and reduced overdue actions by 25%.
05Business impact
The change improved action visibility, accountability, record consistency and management oversight. Teams gained a clearer audit trail and a shared source for QEHS information, actions and review activity.
